CM Yogi Adityanath to pitch UP as India’s next GCC powerhouse in Bengaluru
Lucknow ( Raghwendra Pratap Singh) : Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will embark on a high-profile investment outreach in Bengaluru next week, seeking to position the state as India’s next major destination for Global Capability Centres (GCCs) and technology-led investments.
During a two-day visit on June 23-24, Adityanath will engage with senior executives from multinational corporations, GCC operators, technology firms and leading developers, pitching Uttar Pradesh’s growing strengths in talent, infrastructure, policy support and cost competitiveness.
The outreach comes as states intensify efforts to attract a share of India’s fast-expanding GCC sector, which is projected to grow from more than 1,700 centres today to over 2,400 by 2030. Uttar Pradesh is betting on its large talent pool, ready-to-occupy office infrastructure, improving connectivity and a generous incentive regime to emerge as the next growth hub for global corporations looking to expand beyond traditional metros.
According to the programme schedule, Adityanath will arrive in Bengaluru on June 23 and hold a series of engagements the following day, including a breakfast interaction with leading industry figures, three thematic roundtable discussions at Hotel Leela Palace and a major investment roadshow at Hilton Garden Inn.
The chief minister is also expected to visit Microsoft’s Technology Center at Embassy Golf Links Business Park, one of the company’s key R&D and innovation facilities in India.
